I have joined the Liberals

I was at my first nomination meeting.  I chatted it up with former NDP MP and MLA Chris Axworthy.  I asked him why he switched.  He said that he was always a centrist and now the NDP and the Tories are too extreme.  He seems to have no problem aligning himself with Paul Martin’s fiscal and social policy. 

I will be helping out with the campaign working on the Internet side of things.  I’m really looking forward to learning from the experience.  I’ve spent a lot of time listening and observing church and business leaders learning what I can.  It will be interesting to see political leadership in action.

    Good job LT. I have always liked Axworthy. He was my first vote ever. Way to try to make a difference!
