Audio on Vellacott call online
Technorati can find you wonderful things. After listening to the audio I’d say the voice has a distinct accent, and it certainly isn’t someone in Vellacott’s traditional demographic. You can find a link to it here.

Eeek, but what a source! The website’s sidebar itself is scary enough before even glacing at the rest of the site’s content. (I’m particularly thinking of the flash banner that features a “tribute” to 9/11)

The reason I was trying to get a copy of Chris Axworthy’s statement was because:
a) I wanted to see full text. Mr. Axworthy said:
He had spoken with the person Thursday afternoon who vehemently denied making the call.
Since Mr. Axworthy was present in the studio and since he had access to the audio and information it appears both candidates were lied to.
Mr. Vellacott was falsely accused
Mr. Axworthy was lied to by his worker
Since the caller can face charges, it was in Mr. Axworthy’s interest to do what he could to find out who placed it. It’s difficult to tell when he became aware. It’s a small enough riding many people would recognize each other. It is my understanding George Laliberte hasn’t been charged.
So what has taken place since?

Bene:
It isn’t a small riding. There are about 70 000 people in it.
Don’t know what has happend since. I’m out of town escaping the insanity.
