Man, I’m so glad they lost. No more talk of LOLongo. I’m pretty sure he showed that he is not an elite goaltender, just a good one. I mean, the team was embarassed in home three games. That fourth goal by Kane did not leave the ice but it went right through Luongoat’s legs! Poor Jim Houwson. I thought he was going to start crying at the end.
And now if the Habs would just finally lose tonight we can stop hearing about their fluke run. Geez!
Love the logo.

it’s true Luongo hasn’t been the same since he pulled his groin… he’s become … average on most nights, although he still can steal a game and show flashes of greatness it seems like he’s holding back and unfocused lately. But I would never say he’s not an elite goaltender he’s got the skill to be better than average, (unless that injury did something permanent) he just isn’t playing as hard this year for whatever reason.
The defense carried us this year till January when Malkin gave a concussion to Willie Mitchell (which I think he’s not coming back from), since then it’s been a mess. Thanks to the twins and Kessler (who should be team captain) and some better trades (Samuelson and Erhoff) we made the playoffs this year.
