John Baird is apparently under some environmental stress

What do you think?
Nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea? Pepto eases them all!

Perhaps he learned that Conservatives dropped 10 points in the polls in the last few weeks?

I imagine the whole torture thing had more to do with it than the environment but I sure hope Canadians saw through the fraud that is his environmental policy

If you believe human activity causes global warming don’t you think you would set targets that actually signficantly reduce CO2 emissions?

Saskatoon Waste and Recyling Plan

Saskatoon Waste and Recyling Plan

I love my city!  The City of Saskatoon is holding open houses to discuss a very forward thinking plan on recycling and waste management.  City wide curbside recycling combined with variable fees for garbage.  The more garbage you have the more you pay!  We already have one the best waste treatment plants it is great to see we making progress on recycling.

If this is a good soldier count me out of the war

If this is a good soldier count me out of the war

Mark Driscoll is at it again.  In the past he has offended people and I thought  his detractors over reacted.  This latest video is about being a good male soldier and I have been enlightened.  The message in this video is juvenile and condescending to women.

I’d consider myself an entrepeneurial man.  One who is willing to risk, willing to fail and willing to stand on principles.  I resonate with the scriptural metaphors of being a soldier and sacrificing for mission and devoting myself to fight for a cause greater than myself.  I’m not a big fan of sappy worship music.  I’d be someone that Mark Driscoll might consider to be a "good soldier."

I’m sorry but a real man doesn’t have put down women to be a man.  A real man doesn’t subscribe to juvenille notions of conquering his woman to get sex from her daily.  A real man doesn’t have to make up rules to reinforce his position and force women in to a narrow role.  Mark subscribes to a narrow and simplistic definition of masculinity that excludes most of the male population.
